Adopt-A-Cancer Family: Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill is joining with cancer survivor Molly Kenning to adopt a the Family of Savannah Hurley. In July 2005 she was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor. Wilm’s Tumor is a children’s cancer that affects the kidney. At the time she was diagnosed it was quite large and required a surgery to remove the tumor and one of her kidneys. Unfortunately, it had spread to her lungs and she required radiation treatments and chemotherapy. For details on how you can help email molly@costavidanewengland.com

CJD Cancer Outreach, Inc., was established in December of 2006 as a charitable corporation in the state of Maine, in celebration of the life of Christopher John DiTomaso.  Christopher was diagnosed with leukemia in November of 2003 and died a year later one day before a bone marrow

2007 Evening with the Pirates - A Night of Grog, Grub and Games: Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill provided food and free entree coupons for an evening of silent and live auctions all to benefit the Portland Pirates Foundation and Maine Children's Cancer Program.

Ronald McDonald House: On the first Tuesday of the Month Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill caters dinner for those staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Portland, ME http://www.rmhportlandme.org

Boy Scouts of America: Dan Kenning and Fred Abaroa are both involved on the Scout Committee for troop 226 in Saco. Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill has provided fund raising opportunities for the troop to go to scout camp and other activities.

The Root Cellar: Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill has donated to the "A Fare of the Heart" Auction Benefit which occured Saturday, March 31, 2007. For more information go to http://www.therootcellar.org

Relay for Life: Each year the Relay for Life continues to bring together people touched by cancer. Through their fundraising walks they raise money for the American Cancer Society. Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill donated items to be raffled off. All proceeds from that raffle will be given directly to the Relay for Life.
